The Drunk Mason and the Stone Carpenter
Gee was a man who built teepees
out of planks of quartz, ground, shaved
sanded and drilled by his brother
Smokey the Carpenter:
Gee called Smokey the bee boy, though no one knew why
as he was his younger brother, and together
they roamed the towns around their
home, nodding and whistling, Smokey with
his calabash pipe puffing like a chimney
and Gee pulling down his mad mead.
From Marysville, swinging down to Delltown
they knew the way to Jack’s Bridge, to
Zoox Dam way up by the Great Sea.
Beyond the valleys, rivers, all could see,
the grand designs of these mad monks,
the loyal duo, brothers, who built these teepees of quartz.

Gather Around the Magnificent Troggle Tree

A & E’s Trivial Pursuit

my GENE took the Clay Man, rubbed him
in the dirt, packing him up against
the loreli tree to form a reedy, leafy skirt.

when up slivered the babbling birdy, its wings
all broke and hurt, through the spines
this waxy bark climber had 8 eyes fitted
upon a smiling rainbowy shirt.

a salty taste shot up into the spiraling
umbrella of yellow earth, radiating reds, blues
and golden arrays of intrinsic arching worth.

then down came the olive rain, the sky
grey and inert, and now we see the evening
nodding in its stony entangled flirt.

In The End . . .

HOME BASE SAFE
the goldsphere solid imploding into light
reflecting and refracting in hyperparabolic
flight, this night the ALF and the BEZ take
fright to a new chromador, a gate birthing
shadows into a lone goldball racing and
chasing its utypical shadow in dreamscapes,
sandscapes and the blue sea beyond the
valleyways of the golden sunshine known
planely, simply as 2B HOME.
